NOVEMBER TALK – ‘David Laley’ with a talk entitled ‘100 years of Russells’

Mr David Laley will be joining us to give a talk entitled “100 years of Russells”.

Russells are a family firm who have been supplying tractors and machinery to the farming industry since 1921. Originally from Yorkshire they now operate 10 branches, the nearest being at Harby, Leicestershire, having taken over RES, our local New Holland dealership. They also have 7 branches in Yorkshire, 1 in Derbyshire and 1 in Northamptonshire making them one of the largest New Holland dealerships in the UK. Twice, they have been winners of “Best UK New Holland Dealership” and they also look after customers in the construction and ground-care sectors.

David Layley has published a book on the first 100 years of Russells and he is well known in the Classic & vintage tractor movement for his photography. He will be travelling from Yorkshire and has requested a donation be made to the “Yorkshire Air Ambulance”.
